Gretchen L. Espinetti was in the field of multicultural education for over thirty years throughout the United States, Japan, the Philippines, and Korea in various educational leadership positions.  She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education with concentrations in ESL, French, and Spanish from American International College.  While working full time in Washington, D.C., for a major stock brokerage firm in their capital management division, she attained her graduate degree from The George Washington University in Educational Supervision and Human Development.  In Washington, D.C. she also worked for the American Society of Association Executives, where she assisted individuals nationwide in their executive job search. From these two professional experiences, she learned the importance of client relations, team building, and attention to detail and organization.

In 2011, Gretchen earned her Ph.D. in cultural foundations from Kent State University.  While at the university, she was full-time Director of a large educational program serving diverse students and other constituents domestically and internationally.  For many years, she was also an Adjunct Professor in early childhood education.  Her research and passion were in languages, cultures, and multiple literacies.

For the past ten years, Gretchen has lived in Northeast Florida, where she was in the health and fitness industry in management.  In June 2017, she decided to make a career move to the financial planning industry where she is working as an Administrator with Ronald K. Smith for Smith Group Financial in Northeast Florida.

Gretchen is passionate about client relations, communication, and team building. She believes strongly in giving back to her local and global communities.  She has traveled extensively to over twenty countries and has been an active participant on eight mission teams to Haiti and four teams to Poland.
