Lisa Anderson Harris received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Computer Science from Mississippi Valley State University in Itta Bena, MS.  She continued her education obtaining a Master’s Degree in Religious Arts/Christian Counseling from Logos Christian College in Jacksonville, FL.   Lisa is a Certified Behavior Counselor.  She is also a member of the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions and American Association of Christian Counselors.  

 

Lisa spent over 14 years as Director of Administration, Director of Human Resources and Human Resources Consultant, for a notable Jacksonville-based employee placement company. 

 

Her responsibilities included:

·        Researching, developing, recommending and implementing all aspects of human resources management, retention strategies, staffing and recruiting and performance management.

·        Recommending human resources policies, practices and programs for all employees.

·        Developing and implementing training and development programs.

·        Coordinating and administering compensation and benefits programs.

·        Consulting on issues such as ADA, FMLA, EEOC, Wage and Hour, OSHA, Sexual Harassment, Affirmative Action, Unemployment Compensation and Workers’ Compensation.

·        Handling the administration of the Risk Management program which included managing the day-to-day operations for Workers’ Compensation and Unemployment Compensation.

·        Handling the administration of the communication services which included all publications and word processing requests.

 

Lisa serves as Director of the Financial Planning/Administrator for Smith Group Financial Corporation for the Georgia and Florida offices.
