Ronald K. Smith has been in the Financial Services and Insurance industry for over 25 years. During his career, he has made invaluable contributions to the organizations where he worked. 

He earned the designation of Master Agency Builder for Prudential Preferred Financial Services where his teams finished # 1 in Sales and Growth two years in a row. While at Prudential, he also served as Director of Operations for their largest agency, and won the top award for Growth and Development in 1996 and 1997.

In 1998, MetLife commissioned Ron to oversee the African American Initiative, which established seven African American sponsored agencies throughout the United States. During his tenure with MetLife he established the African American Advisory Board in Atlanta.  Ron also served as Partner in the Madison Financial Group, where he helped to develop MetLife’s Fee-Based Comprehensive Financial Planning Services.

AXA Financial Corporation recruited Ron in 2004 as its Regional Vice President.  In 2005, Ron took his talents to Jefferson Pilot, which later merged with Lincoln Financial Group.

He has won seven Million Dollar Round Table Awards and has been designated a MDRT Qualifying and Life member.

Ron now serves as President and Senior Partner of Smith Group Financial Corporation, which he founded in 2007.
